TransferRite®

American Biltrite Inc. (ABI) began making paper application tape in 1961 and registered the trademark TransferRite® in the early 1980s. Since that time, the brand has become synonymous with application tapes and premask for the worldwide commercial graphics industry. Today, TransferRite tape products are used in sign making, screen printing, digital printing, laser engraving, heat transfer, and textile printing applications. From vinyl lettering to vehicle wraps, TransferRite paper and film tapes are engineered to the highest standards - yours!

TransferRite application tapes are sold into the sign and textile markets through a select network of sign supply distributors. While lightweight saturated paper tapes in a variety of tack levels are the most popular, there are also numerous heavyweight paper and clear film options. Each tape product has been designed to meet specific applications within the sign making and textile segments. Drawing on ABI's protective masking expertise, we also offer several protective films and papers targeted towards the sign industry.

The same extensive product development and variety applies to the screen printing and digital printing market segments. Pressure sensitive adhesive formulations have been paired with specific tape backings to complement the most technically challenging applications. Our product range can meet the demands of solvent and UV inks, clear coatings and film overlaminates along with the mechanical challenges of fabrication, die cutting and laminating.

ABI was founded in 1908 and today is an industry leader in the development and manufacture of pressure sensitive adhesive-coated papers and films. Our removable tapes are used not only as a carrier for transferring graphic films, but for the protection and labeling of materials during manufacture, fabrication, storage, and shipping.

All products are designed in our fully equipped and expertly staffed Research & Development department, and manufactured to the ISO 9001:2000 standard at our state-of-the-art, 225,000 square foot facility in Moorestown, NJ. We have been ISO registered since 1993, and that translates to certifiable consistency, roll after roll.
